SKYFACE SENSRMAP is a monograph of 16 digital artworks by Brenna Murphy. I’ve been in love with Brenna’s work since the first time I saw it on a computer screen. Each piece was at least 10000 pixels wide and tall, too big for the screen to contain. This oversized newspaper attempts to replicate that immersive experience. I imagine people reading this casually in public, it would look like aliens had infiltrated society. Brenna carefully selected 16 images from her catalog of artworks from the past few years. The digital renderings are 3 dimensional and fractal – they seem to trace the biological shapes of nature, cloud and micro or even quantum vision.
