Floating World Comics has moved to the Lloyd Center, one Max stop from the Hollywood!
To celebrate, the shop will be hosting a special screening of 1989’s gothic classic Batman, starring Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, and Tim Burton’s weirdo vision of Gotham City! Also, Prince tunes!
Hosted by Sam Ashurst of the Arrow Video podcast, Floating World will be on site to recommend a bunch of cool comic books, with a curated selection of the best Batman graphic novels, including Josh Simmons’ and Pat Keck’s bootleg book Dream of the Bat – with the creators joining us to sign their incredible work.
So pull on your purple suit / rubber mask, huff some Smylex, jump into your nearest Batmobile, and join us for a comic-book party(man) like no other!
