Floating World presents… Crumb!
Floating World Comics will be hosting a special screening of underground documentary classic Crumb, directed by Ghost World’s Terry Zwigoff, centered around one of the most important – and controversial – figures in comix, Robert Crumb!
But that’s not all! Floating World will be on site to launch the latest Crumb collection, Art & Beauty, published by Fantagraphics at their table before the show! Get down to the Hollywood Theatre at 6pm for the exclusive book release party, and 7pm for the flick!
FWC will also have a limited number of event posters available for purchase, handcrafted by local cartoonist Chris Cilla, who will also be on hand with his comix, including Feast of Grease
So, brace yourself for crudity, nudity, and a family tree so twisted it makes the title star look ordinary!
It’s Crumb, presented by Floating World, and all the coolest (Fritz the) cats will be town to hoover it up! Don’t be a Weirdo (or do, up to you), Zap yourself to the Hollywood on Tuesday, April 21, at 7pm, and Floating World will piggy back you right to your seat! (piggy backs are not included in the price of the ticket, and this offer is not legally binding).
